Laser welding of car body
Laser welding of car body mainly includes assembly welding, welding of side wall and top cover, and subsequent welding. Laser welding of automobile parts has the advantages of almost no deformation of the welding part, fast welding speed, and no need for post-weld heat treatment. At present, laser welding is widely used in the manufacturing of transmission gears, valve tappets, door hinges, transmission shafts, steering shafts, engine exhaust pipes, clutches, supercharger axles and chassis and other automotive components.

1.Problems caused by the blowing direction of shielding gas: In view of the problems of unstable weld pool and narrow weld protection range caused by the blowing force of shielding gas is too large and the blowing area is too small, the shielding gas pipe with larger inner diameter is used instead, which can reduce the interference of gas on the formation of weld pool on the premise of forming a larger protection range for the weld pool.
2.Poor welding caused by mismatch of process parameters: in order to meet the requirements of uniform and beautiful weld surface formation and weld width, slow and defocused welding is adopted. In addition, the up-slope adjustment time and down-slope adjustment time shall be adopted in the welding process to reduce the crater formed at the end of arc.
